What do- *Lady Bugs *Spiders *Praying Mantis *Lacewings *Ground Beetles *And lightning bugs have in common? They are all helpful to have in your garden! Join us as we spend some time outside exploring the new community garden at the library and learning about the importance of GOOD insects in the garden. This program, while aimed at school age students in grades 1-6, is open to all ages if interested. Registration is required. PLEASE NOTE: The first thirty registrants will also have lunch provided by the Friendly Bean Cafe courtesy of the UCB Charitable Foundation. The Library is excited to offer this joint program with support from Farm-to-School (Dearborn County Purdue Extension Service), The Friendly Bean Cafe, the Southeast Indiana Community Garden Project, and the UCB Charitable Foundation. (Program will be held in the Depot meeting room only in the event of inclement weather.)
